À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people; to see parts unknown; to contribute my verse
ABOUT ME
"Peculiar travel suggestions are like dancing lessons from God." Bokonon
That quote sums up my personal philosophy better than anything I could hope to come up with on my own.
PHILOSOPHY
Do to others what you would like to be done to you.
Have fun.
"Time you enjoy wasting wasn't wasted." John Lennon
"Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have but one day, today, and I am going to have fun in it." Groucho Marx
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I haven't had much opportunity to help the CS community. Right now my goals are to meet new people and host a couch when I get back to the States!
Centres d'intérêt
I have many interests but not enough time to pursue them. I enjoy reading, writing, talking with friends (preferably one-on-one), running, learning languages, exploring, and enjoying the time I have been given.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
This is by far the most difficult field.
I like the movie-watching experience as much, if not more, than the actual movies themselves, therefore I am not very picky. I prefer dialogue-based movies. Coffee & Cigarettes was great.
There isn´t much music I don´t like, so this is hard to say. The best concert I have ever been to was Lollapalooza in Chicago where I got to see Radiohead.
Books? My favorite living author is Haruki Murakami.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I hiked the Camino de Santiago, along the "Ruta Francés" from St. Jean Pied du Port, France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In total, it was over 500 miles of walking. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Did you know that if you have to sneeze, but don´t want to, there are TWO pressure points you can use to stop it? (1) Press a finger to the ridge directly below the nose and above the upper lip. (2) Press a finger to the meaty part of your hand (either one), right next to the thumb pad.
Voila!
I have a theory that it also works to stop hiccups, but it hasn´t been 100% foolproof thus far...
