ABOUT ME

We're a couple in our late 20s. Hmm...We both work in restaurants for the time being, trying to figure out how to avoid the 9 to 5 life. We love traveling more than anything and we want to go everywhere, but now we're focusing on the developing world because it's so much cheaper. We love having wine night and spending the night at home, or going out to Nashy's cozy bars to hear fantastic music all over town. Amanda sings, Chris doesn't, but most of his friends do (throw a stick anywhere in Nashville and you'll hit a musician). Amanda's been known to conquer a karaoke bar or two every now and then.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've recently returned from travels through Asia where we had our first couchsurfing experiences. Now we're home and ready to participate on the hosting end.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a couple of times in Hong Kong and once in Guilin, all great experiences, much more interesting than hotel hopping.

Experienced an impromptu hangout with Tibetan monks in their monastery quarters sharing their bread and yogurt.
