About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to find a balance between travelling -the big world- and staying- at home, my world

ABOUT ME

all about me? How is that possible to put in words? I am not a big talker, or a woman of words. I currently enjoy living on my own. After all the months of traveling I can't get enough of having my own space, in my own time...I started my very first professional job as an art therapist and feel like I have to learn a lot still, but that traveling gave me a lot of security, and somehow wisdom. In my job I can combine my two passions: people and art!
So I do try to make my own art, some sports like pilates, yoga and dancing. And what I always enjoy is reading a good book. All of these activities help me to balance my work with people.
I can be quiet and sometimes goofy. I need a lot of me-time. After I get it I love to join people even more.

PHILOSOPHY

try to live in the Here and Now as most as I can

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think that through traveling and allowing people into our homes and lives we contribute to the world peace. I would love to meet people in my city and enable them to make great experiences just like I did when I was traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my travels in South America I made my first CS experiences, which was a great decision, great experience, great door to new friendship and thinking. I surfed couches in several places and met some amazing people.

Interests

I enjoy arts of different kinds, reading, sports (Pilates, Climbing, Yoga), I love dancing, and having a glass of good wine or cocktail and chat! and most of all: food! I am the one who enjoys to EAT, not necessarily to COOK...
I also love the feeling of being an explorer. Makes me feel like a child again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loved the movie Juno. In general I am more interested in books. My last one was The World according to Garp by John Irving, which I enjoyed a lot. Also Magnus Mills, T.C.Boyle, Paul Auster, Harry Potter...anything interesting, inspiring, touching!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What comes to my mind first is seeing Machu Picchu, which was only recently. Making the decision (against all other expectations and opinions in my surrounding) to go traveling for couple of months was also an amazing thing for me. Also teaching kids in Peru without really speaking Spanish...

Teach, Learn, Share

I don´t feel like I have one particular field of knowledge. I enjoy sharing thoughts about art and psychology. Coming from a field of therapy I have experiences in working with all different kinds of people.
