CURRENT MISSION

Hello everyone! After traveling around the world and being inspired by some many wonderful people, cool projects and beautiful places on earth I came back home with this big dream of building a place where I can live close from nature and in touch with people from different neighborhoods/cities/countries and we are also open for outter space fellows if they ever happen to come!(:P hehehe just kidding)

The ideia is that in this peece of land I can live in a balanced and creative way aiming to plant as much as I can combining and promoting the great principles and knowledge of Permaculture, the filosophical and practical guidance of Yoga and getting involve with the community around us trying to help this part of south of Brazil growing in a sustainable way adopting the concepts of "Cidades mais humanas" (Cities for humans not for machines). My strategy for paying off the loan I got to get this small land is to greenbuild an Organic Hostel!

I see this project not only as a way to be economically sustainable (because no matter how we wish money didnt exist it still does) but also as a way of promoting an ecological way to host and to travel, sharing the little that I've learned so far. I hope it to be a place where more people will be able to get in touch with nature and with themselves, developing alternative ways of living thus start to care about mother nature and about being happy and healthy rather than adjusting to the system without realizing that together we can change it to better.

The house is made of wood and there are one private room, one 8 bed dorm and you can also camp on the yard.
There is no wifi at the moment but you can get connection in a bakery near here.

Things to see near here? Many many beautiful beaches, beautiful trackings, lakes, etc. Ibiraquera is a small village but it's close from Praia do Rosa where you can find night life, restaurants with life music, cool little shops, surf and stand up paddle gears to rent, so on..!

Things to do? I need to organize and clean the yard, build a fence around the land maybe with bamboo maybe reusing other materials, start planting trees, vegetables,herb, make some furniture out of some leftovers woods, sand and paint the house and also dig an ecopool! I'd like to find someone to make an artistic paint in the outside of the house, the part which was made of concrete thats is about 2,2mx1,2m by 6meters tall ( 7x3x20 feet ).

Of course I also need help keeping the place clean! So there are many actions that you can get involved! At the moment I can host 3 people at a time There are shops nearby. If you like the idea and feel like being a part of it Im open for your ideas and to get to know you and your story of life :)

The amount of hours of work could be something around 5 hours/day with 2 days off, it's very flexible really. We expect people to be open to interact and to help with the everydays' life tasks like cooking and cleaning just as if they were in their own houses. There is no hierarchy when it comes to that really.

About food, I can provide the basics like fruits, vegetable, rice, pasta, bread, etc, but for more sofisticated things it would be on you. The meals are vegetarian.

I am a Yoga teacher so I would be happy to offer you daily classes of Hatha and Tantra Yoga.

Everybody helps with everything but you'll be doing only what you feel comfortable doing. Guess thats all for now! Thanks for taking the time to read this profile and hope to hear from you! All the best!

## Sorry if this sounds uninviting but here I go.. Please, if you are a guy/girl who is looking for only to get lucky (read sex) through CS experiences and dont care nothing at all about "making the world a better place a couch at a time" ( CS old slogan) then dont even bother offering/requesting a couch or to meet up. Dont get me wrong I think it can be beautiful if two people connect n get along in that sense but I dont think this should be the only reason or even the main reason why someone joins CS. I see CS as a way of opening your house to help a stranger, to opening your mind for different cultures n ideas and to open your heart to care about ANY human being. Cheers ✌️ ##
