Overview
About Me
I'm an art teacher and visual artist who's enthusiastic about discovering music, traveling, creating and sharing new moments in time. I'm enthusiastic about the places I want to be, and especially of the people I meet along the way. I enjoy collecting records and recording tape for friend's or just for myself. I collect old literature and well designed printed things. I'm always up for an adventure in the kitchen also
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had great experiences being hosted in Mexico and the US. I would love to reach out, meet, and get to know other travelers and people while exploring new far away places! I like to learn about other cultures and mine as well. It excites me to see the differences and similarities of other like minded individuals of this world :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music holds a lovely place in my heart. Some favorites: Bauhaus, Tropic of Cancer, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Cat Power, Linkwood, Carlos Peron, Basic Channel, November Növelet, Air, Soul Center/Thomas Brinkmann, Siouxsie Sioux/The Creatures, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Tuxedomoon, J. Dilla, Nightmares on Wax, Carmen Rivero, Gudrun Gut; New & Old, Experimental or Pop, Techno or Ambient, No Wave and so on.. it all means something special to me.
Movies, some recent favorites, although not necessarily new: Querelle, Relatos Salvajes, Tacones Lejanos, Liquid Sky
I've enjoyed William S. Burroughs, Jene Genet, Allen Ginsberg, James Baldwin, Colm Tóibín, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent the better part of a month getting lost in the pacific northwest. So beautiful, and amazing atmosphere, but I know the world has so much more to offer
And I am a teacher, so there's a little bit of that thrown into my daily life :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Music! I have quite the love affair with vinyl records and artistry. I love to share music with those around me, all while discovering something new as well..
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel sharing experiences and life moments is a great thing. Perhaps over a meal and some wine or drinks. Also, talking and exchanging language, learning new ways to express one's self can be quite amazing also.
