Overview
About Me
I am now married and we have 2 kids (twins) about a year old. We also have 2 dogs and they are both very friendly. One is a pit and the other is a malty-poo. Both of them have the middle name of "moo". This just happened and was not planned ;)
We live in a nice area with decent access to bike trails and are a 7 minute drive from Catalina National Park. The landscape here is covered in cactus - mostly cholla, prickly pear, ocotillo, and saguaro. The city has a "low light" rule which means you can still see the stars at night even though you're in the city. It's awesome. We're in a small suburban neighborhood with close access to grocery stores and restaurants.
CURRENT MISSION
To boldly go where no one has gone before
ABOUT ME
Web Developer living in AZ at the moment. I also guide groups of teenagers in the Tonto National Forest for the Anasazi Foundation. I like meeting people from many different walks of life and sharing experiences. I also love outdoor adventures!
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is a state of mind. I've grown up in some stressful situations and what I learned from it all is that your surroundings don't determine your happiness, but what you believe inside of you determines it. Changing yourself is how you change the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Music: I'm more of an ambient music listener.
Books are fantastic. I like to browse public libraries. I read a lot.
I like movies too. Some classics I love: Back To The Future, The Bourne Trilogy, Batman: The Dark Knight, Inception, Napoleon Dynamite, Muppet Christmas Carol, and I like to watch random indie movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I summited Symmetry Spire twice (in the Teton Mountains), I used CPR in a real emergency situation, I visited the Great Wall of China, I know skills to survive in the desert for a number of days.
I also lived for 3 months off of dumpster diving - and ate quite well actually.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can start primitive fire using nothing but sticks (hand drill, fire plow, or bow drill). I can cook the best breakfast burrito you've ever had - and I'll even show you how to do it yourself. I can play the didgeridoo. I make websites and I teach people how. I can teach you too. I like learning about culture and technology.
What I Can Share with Hosts
How to make primitive fire, how to make the best breakfast burrito you've ever had, and who knows what else?
