About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I spent 3 months in Bansko, Bulgaria. This is where I was, skying, when Covid19 arrived to our lives.
Now, safe form the virus, and taing the right cautions, I bought a bike, and with my tent and sleeping bag I'm traveling around Greece.

ABOUT ME

Sports, friends, trips, dance, guitar, work are the main activities that make me move. I'll skip the original part that says "I love to travel", since we all are pretty much in there :)
My hometown is Leon, in Spain, but I rarely spend more that 3 months per year there.
When I am in Europe, I use to work as graphic designer and developer, and when I live in Brazil or any other country by the sea, I work as a dive instructor.
I do like biking and I do defend that transport as the main one in every city. I like dogs and have volunteered often with local associations whenever I've been.
Everywhere I go, I take a bike and a guitar with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is much more interesting when you take your own decisions and not just do what you are supposed to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been in several houses as couchsurfer, and hosted other CS´s too, specially during my time in London, where me and my friend hosted over 50 people along 6 months. Most the experiences have been very positive.
I also have met some other people for a coffee, a chat, share some tips, do some activities together, such as hiking, going on a day bike trip, play paddle, climbing and so on.

Interests

In general, I like drawing, playing guitar, diving, squash, skating, dancing, reading and writing.
When I'm in Europe, I use to cycle a lot, and eventually playing squash or tennis, climbing, roller blading, archery. It's been a while since I don´t train capoeira as I used to,
When I live in the coast, my sports are diving, kite and wind surfing.

I started skydiving 5 years ago and still looking forward to keep on jumping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Rush, Cidade de Deus, Into the wild, Babel, Good bye Lenin ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born in an inland city and working as diving instructor in so many places can be considered a good achievement.

- Noronha (Brazil) is definitively a magic place, at least for me. That's where I started to work with diving.
- Skydiving: I started to jump myself some years ago. I still feel the butterflies in my stomach every time I'm in the plane, just before jumping.
- Living in Cape Verde and traveling around its islands. Cape Verde has amazing routes for cycling, a lot of variety in every of its islands...
- Egypt, I crossed the south of the country by bike, on August ... it was hot yeah, but the experience was awesome. People there can be great, as long as you get away from the touristic areas.
- Mexico: living in a boat and having a very simple and happy life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like many kind of people as long as they are mature and with solid principles. I think you can always learn of the people you meet, even if they live a life completely different than you.
