About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working on my Master

ABOUT ME

I was born in Gliwice (Poland) but my parents moved to Bremen (Germany) when I was about a year old, so I basically grew up in Germany. But I am still visiting my family back in Poland on one or two occasions each year.

After finishing school I moved to Münster, for I wanted to study Math and the faculty here is told to be quite good. Not that this means I'm studying hard and are unbelievable ambitious about my grades. It's... working for me and thats fine as long as I can do stuff I like.

A few years ago I moved in with fellow students from math and a friend from Bremen. We decided to offer our couch/attic here so we can do something good for other people and get the chances to meet interesting ones. Since then we had a guest here or there, so we'll be happy about everyone who wants to visit us!

I work at a club called Amp but even when I'm working, you will definitely find someone to party in our flat or the one above.

Interests

There are two basic sides: one that's pretty nerdy (games like roleplay, tabletop or video games, a whole bunch of math and tech stuff and fantasy/sifi books and movies) while the other one's focused on politics and philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of old stuff and comics/mangas. This includes old plays (e.g. by Lessing and Schiller), REALLY old stuff like the Nibelungenlied or nordic Eddas. But on the other hand I love the books by Terry Pratchett or Stuff like the recent books by garth Nix or the Otori-books by Lian Hearn.

And yes, I love comics and mangas. I mean, what have you expected? I'm studying Math!

Some of my favourite films? This will be... The Darjeeling Limited, You kill me, Sonnenallee, Across the Universe and Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain.

In addition I'm a huge addict when it comes to tv series with Community being my "living" and Arrested Development being my all time favorite.
