ABOUT ME
I hail from the south, but now reside in the north. My parents both being from the north, I feel as if I am a displaced Yankee who finally moved home.
I'm passionate about my family and friends, God, music, books, movies, mountains, philosophy... and, the list goes on.
PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you; find the good in all bad situations; learn from past mistakes, while also living with no regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
People, to me, are like classrooms, professors; there is so much I can learn from each individual. With that said, I try and host people as much as I'm able to. And, if I can't host, I try and avail myself to at least hang out for a beer, coffee or tour of the city!
I'm also trying to become more involved with some of the local monthly happenings!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of my experiences have been positive, from hosting three random people who were traveling North America showing a documentary on North Korea; to crashing with a girl in Philly, along with 4 other people, all in her studio apartment; to befriending a random Russian girl who works here over the summers!
Interests
I love music, food, God, family, friends, travel, old movies, some new movies, foreign movies, indie movies, dogs, mountains, the ocean, the desert, big cities, small towns, farms, people, sleep. I love to read, I love to listen, I love to talk. I love to meet new people, make new friends, get in touch with long lost friends, and I love to introduce friends to each other.
