About Me

I am very chatty and generally try to look for the positive side of things. I live the sunshine and whenever the weather is nice I tend to be in a good mood. I like to be in nature but also to visit museums, particularly art museums. I like to cook for my friends and often have dinner parties. I quite enjoy going out in the evening for a drink but I usually don't stay up too late as I need a lot of sleep. I come from a big family so I'm used to being surrounded by people and don't mind noisy environments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to meet people and to see a place through the eyes of its citizens. I'm not looking for the usual tourist experience, but rather I would like to get a taste of what it's like to live there. Some friends have recommended couch surfing as they had an incredible time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read but I struggle to pick a book as my favourite. I did really enjoy "The Life of Pi" which I've read recently. I'm terms of films, I quite liked "The Pursuit of Happiness" and "Scent of a woman"
I'm not too fussy with music but I tend to particularly enjoy jazz and classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped on the Great Wall recently, which was an amazing experience that I would definitely recommend!

Teach, Learn, Share

I happy to share any of the knowledge I have, whether it is language skills or cooking. I would love to learn about the local culinary traditions of the places I visit as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Italian cuisine as I love cooking and I think that food is one of the best ways to share one's culture. Anywhere I have been so far I have been able to use local ingredients to make authentic Italian food (especially desserts!) I am also an experienced language teacher so I am happy to help you with your language learning for English, Italian and Spanish :)
