I am a guy who tries to be content with whatever is available. Not that I don't have a desire list but I try to seek happiness in little nuances of life.

I have quit a well-paying corporate job to pursue my passion for cooking. Today I proudly call myself a self-taught chef. I have lived in a couple of countries (outside my home country-India) and have embraced every culture beautifully. My particular interest in food has lead me to explore many countries through the lens of Food. I thoroughly enjoy learning new dishes and cooking for people.

I may not be multi-talented, but I have a beautiful quality of making people happy with my food. All the more reason for me to now travel extensively and cook for people of various nationalities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I gave a little brief about myself and my love for cooking. So that builds a solid reason to travel the world and get to know different cultures.

Now, what better platform to satisfy this desire of mine than Couchsurfing. I would love to make many friends traveling around the world and I know for a fact that Couchsurfing can provide that reliable and safe platform.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music to me is life and there's no particular genre for me (depends on the present moment a lot). To just name a few, I like old Hindi songs, Spanish, and Italian Music.

I am a big movie buff. Love to watch a lot (mainly in English & Hindi). Currently, I am fascinated with the Spanish language so watching a lot of stuff in Spanish.

Not much of a book reader currently but I am trying to develop that habit

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of thrilling things from my life that can be narrated but most of them are related to "being in love".

And, honestly, I am so over this topic of "love". I mean no offense to the lovers out there but I am so happy being "not answerable to anybody". I certainly enjoy my freedom

Teach, Learn, Share

There are a couple of skills I am good at, the top most being "Cooking". So I will be super happy to teach this to people

I would want to learn new languages as I feel that knowing a local language is the best way to slip into any culture easily. Also, learning to cook many local dishes would be a delight

I am a very flexible open book so always up to share anything & everything with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

There are loads to share with the hosts. While my stay at any host's house I will be the best chef in that house.

I am always ready with a bag of fun stories from my past, city, and upbringing. So the host will be entertained for sure when I share a slice of my life.

I am really good at teaching my local lingo to new people. Trust me you are up for some really hilarious words.

I don't know if this is required but I'll put it cleary- I am a great helping hand for any host
