About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience life to it's fullest and to travel in the meantime
ABOUT ME
My name is Caroline and I am from Montreal. I am an elementary school teacher. I speak English and French.
Traveling and meeting new people are my passions. I traveled in Europe for entire summers and worked in Asia. These and other travels have been the best experiences of my life. I love the couch surfing experience because it offers a much more intimate way to discover a new place.
I am very outgoing and energetic; sometime too much so! I am a bit of a social butterfly and a dreamer. I am adventurous and always down to try new and dangerous things. I am extroverted and really not shy; I love dancing and can find fun in just about anything.
I can be quiet but I am naturally talkative. I can stay up all night talking some times. I love culture as much as I love sunshine and sports and there isn't anywhere in the world I wouldn't want to visit!
PHILOSOPHY
Dont let anything get in the way of pursuing your dreams

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am kind of breaking the rule here of one amazing thing I've done. I am proud to have been able to so fortunate to have experienced what I have so far in life. I don't take any day for granted and I live everyday to the fullest.
- This summer in 2015 J-Y and I went to Palau. Yes, I am figuring you probably have never heard of this country. It's the fourth smallest country in the world, so maybe that's why you never heard of it. It's in Micronesia, google it and you will see the pure paradise of this country.
We did an 8 day kayaking expedition across all the Rock Islands. It was a dream trip and adventure. I will never forget waking up to an empty island and a paradise all to ourselves. Go now and visit this country before anybody finds out about it!
- One of my favorite moments in my life was when I went mountaineering with my fiance JY in Switzerland in August 2012. We climbed a peak called Mönch that was 4107 m high in altitude. Mönch was amazing!! I never was so scared but so happy at the same time. My blood was pumping and my adrenaline was skyrocketing every step we took towards the peak. Descending though to me proved to be a challenge of will. All in all, I will never forget this experience and hope to relive something like it again. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6nch
- Decided to try something different and leave my home in Canada to go teach SAT prep classes at the Princeton Review in Seoul, South Korea (Summer 2009)
- Traveled across south east Asia solo for three months. Was a great experience and learned so much about myself (August- October 2009)
- Went to Jules underwater hotel in the Florida Keys. We scuba dived down and spent a wonderful night in this underwater hotel. (September 2014)
- Climbed Mount Fuji in Japan in August 2011
- Volunteered in Ishinomaki, Japan three months after the terrible tsunami for an organization called Team Nadia. (August 2011)
- Swam with wild dolphins on the Big Island, Hawaii. (March 2015)
- We did a night dive in the Big Island and had the most incredible experience watching manta rays swim above us. (March 2015)
- Hang glided in Rio de Janeiro (April 2015)
