Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Understanding the world from the eyes of the people I meet.
ABOUT ME
Always happy-curious as hell-little boy watching the world with his eyes wide open-enjoy others-cooking good stuff-Coco. That's me.
PHILOSOPHY
Every time you meet someone, your life becomes different. You will learn from him and he will learn from you, you will never be the same. That's what they mean by the Japanese saying "ä¸æä¸ä¼" (ichi-go ichi-e)
I try to be always happy, smiling to others should not need a reason, nor talking to someone you don't know (yet).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Elsa Leydier made me know and with her, we went to Kyoto and I had my first experience in Shoji Ishizu's house. His kindness opened my eyes made me want to travel and host to meet new people.
Since then, I do as much as I can to meet all sorts of people, learning from them as much as I learn from myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Japan, in Italy and in the U.S.
We've been hosting with my roommates for while, it's been amazing. I look forward hosting some more !
Interests
Journalism, photography, traveling, cooking, eating, thinking.
To me, that's what Journalism is all about : meeting new people, learning from them, and telling others a story about how interesting people are.
I will never miss an occasion to learn from someone.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, whatever it is. I mean I know everyone says that but really. From Jazz, to reggae, to trip-hop, to electro, to rap ... everything is interesting to listen to.
Hayao Miyazaki, Tim burton, Edgar Wright, Peter Jackson(Brain dead!)... I mean I don't know, anything geeky I'll take it. Anything well-made or intellectual I'll take it as well. Oh and I can't say no to a so-bad-it's-good movie, there really are some pearls.
I have a thing for animation movies, be it a Pixar or a Miyazaki. I find them more true in a way, or maybe it just calls to my love for dreams and fantasy-based worlds.
The Lord of the rings, H2G2, 1984, The brave new world, Boris Vian ... I used to read a lot of fantasy, nowadays I'm more about theory, history, psychology, religious texts or philosophy. There is so much to learn.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Love
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I'm in any position to teach.
I can tell though. If someone wants to see it as a lesson, so be it but I don't consider myself a teacher. A storyteller ? definitely !
As for learning, I could listen to people talk about themselves for days. Everything you learn, no matter what or from whom, will help you understand yourself and the rest of the world.
