Hej,
I am currently living in Göteborg, Sweden. But I'm from Cologne, Germany. Soaking in the cold and windy weather. Apparently a little rain is good for the soul.

I am trying to stop traveling fast and travel slow instead. Get to know the places I am visiting more closely. (Which is totally a challenge bc I feel drawn to a lot of places and am not patient enough to just wait.)

But yes, currently I am getting to know the Scandinavian countries, which feels like the complete opposite to South America, where I felt drawn to last time. Next on my travel list are India, Kenia, East Europe, Japan & South Korea but also Oman, Iran, Scotland & Greenland and I would like to go back to Argentina and Brazil to explore some more!

As you can see! It's hard to be patient when the travel bug has bitten me several times. I just cannot sit still. I have already settled plans for the rest of my life and every other month there is another place that can be added to the list. (Plus the places I wanna revisit - because really... who visits a place and doesn't want to come back after leaving a part of your heart there.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After what I just wrote it totally felt like I just wrote down details of my personal addiction. So I would like to meet fellow people who share this problem. I'm currently not able to host people since I am renting the tiniest room ever (why is Sweden so expensive) but we could meet up, talk, and explore together! I would love to show you the beautiful city of Gothenburg that I like to call my home right now! It has a lot to offer - great events, the archipelago, interesting people, fika (all day, every day) and nice spots to look over the city (to only name a few).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure what counts as a great experience but traveling through Argentina as a 18-year-old with zero Spanish skills is pretty impressive (and naive) but also hiking the Inca Trail and not throwing up on the ferry to the archipelago after a night of drinking. Jealous?
