ABOUT ME

Always trying to use every bit of time, due to this I stress myself sometimes :). So, on the one hand I am very active, on the other hand I am getting lazier in order to relax more. I love sewing and geocaching, bicycling, enjoying nature, kayaking, having a coffee with friends, trying out new recepies
I do not like the "throw-away-society" and all the stupid plastic stuff people buy everyday - I try to follow the principle reduce - reuse - recycle

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am looking for some couches in the USA with my husband, since we are travelling across the country!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve been couchsurfing with my husband in Lund in January 2012. It was the best we could do to get to know the city and the people there. We had 3 totally different hosts and they showed us 3 different ways to get to know Lund! Since we are on the big tour, we surfed in Toronto, Thunder Bay and Portland, which as awesome!

Nature and how all the little things work together to form the big cycle of life. Me and my husband help organizing a film festival every year, that shows globalization critical documentaries. The movies deal with things like patents on pharmaceuticals, hunger, waste of food, war, neokolonialism,...

The music I hear varies from Good Shoes, Linkin Park, Gorillaz to Eels and Adele and more.....I love scandinavian films, there is something special about them. One of my favorite is "Lapland Odyssey" and "I rymden finns inga känslor (Simple Simon)". And one of the best movies ever is "Little Miss Sunshine". Books I like are "1984" and "Glennkill".

Sometimes I can offer to show people around in the city and tell them, what they should see. Sometimes I can only offer a place to sleep due to working. It really depends!
