ABOUT US:

Hello everyone :) First of all - we are a young, married couple who decided to combine 2 CS accounts because we almost always travel together. Now, a few words about us:

Agata:
I graduated from University of Warsaw where I've been studying Oriental Studies. I am really interested in different cultures and different approaches to life. At the same time I try to be really active. I am a president of Students' Scientific Organization "MARHABA" where I try to familiarize Polish society with middle eastern culture. I also teach Arabic in language school. What's more? I enjoy people and I am very communicative. I love learning languages, singing and travelling. Isn't Couch Surfing a perfect tool for me? I guess so :)

Pawel:
I am a really busy man :) I used to study European Studies at the University of Warsaw. I work as an editor in chief of the IT magazine Hack Insight. 2 years ago I started to develop my own company - me and my wife HAVE A BAR in Warsaw that's called Żyrafa (Giraffe). I also play bridge in quite a professional way now. I want to broad my experience by traveling and meeting the valuable people. I hope Couch Surfing will help me achieve this aim :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted few people in Warsaw and we liked it. We always learn something new from different people and at the same time we have a lot of fun with them :)
We started surfing few years ago and till now now we've done it couple of times. However we still want to expand our activity during free time.

Our roadtrip from Poland through Germany to Denmark using only CouchSurfing was one of the best trips ever! We haven't experienced anything bad from people here, we just love this way of travelling!

We truly want to start new crazy adventures and we hope this site and people here will help us a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

freestyle trip to Liverpool (UK) after graduating from high school, seeing wild Tatra Mountains at the dawn, hosting surfers from CS and obviously surfing, seeing RHCP LIVE and participating in their concert in Warsaw, spending the night by the hot springs of the Dead Sea, snorkeling in Thailand, work and travel in Cote d'Azur, opening a bar spontaneousely... and maybe sleeping over at stranger's place in Georgia? No? :D

Teach, Learn, Share

If one decides to have an adventure with us, we will offer a tour across Warsaw and we'll share with the visitors very interesting facts about Poland. We are quite good at cooking so we can make you a traditional polish dish from time to time! As we own a bar, we can also show you how to party (Polish style) and make your nights out totally unforgettable (or maybe forgettable after a solid dose of %% :p - however you prefer! )
We will also be pleased to teach you a little bit of Polish :)
