ABOUT ME

When I was about 10 years old, I saw "The Muppets Take Manhattan" and had this feeling in my gut that i would be moving to New York City the second it was legal for me to do so... and I was right! I moved here on a Greyhound bus fresh out of high school.

A few years ago, that gut feeling returned... but I realized that i wanted to make a second home for myself in Amsterdam. Amsterdam and New York have so much in common, while having 2 completely different paces. I've been to Europe 3 times in the last year, and I've been mostly in Amsterdam each time! So far I have only been to Holland and Belgium. I plan on branching out to visit other countries. I'll be going to my friend's wedding in Berlin in August and plan on checking out the UK a little bit, since I have family there.

I'm a full time musician and part time actress/model/oddjobber...my life is so different from day to day. I love playing in Europe, the appreciation for live music is so amazing. I'm looking to spend half my year in Europe touring and spend the other half in New York City.

My philosophy is to go with the flow in life, stay true to the heart and listen to that guiding voice within that often defines conventional wisdom...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed in Berlin and have not been able to host yet, due to room mate situation, but I have hosted people for coffee and given tours of the city. I have also been able to be a valuable resource for people who want to move to New York. I've lived here for a while and know how to navigate this city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing.com experience back in July. I stayed at an ecological housing unit in Berlin and learned so much about alternate energy and environmental living. I have since connected with a couple people for coffee and made some interesting on line friends that I have yet to meet. I've had nothing but good experiences.

Interests

feng shui, cats, karate (blue belt), recording in Garageband, making films and music videos on my Cannon, cooking (I am pretty good and will cook you a killer meal if you host me!!!) walking in nature...
