About Me
CURRENT MISSION
...to find my mission.
ABOUT ME
I'm fairly relaxed in most situations. I like learning about myself from being with other people. After traveling with my friend Robin from Amsterdam, visiting friends and relatives in Europe, and seeing a bit of Asia, I'm getting back into the programming...a few interesting projects.
PHILOSOPHY
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I found out about CS while traveling. I'm now back in Richmond and others are most welcome to stay at my place as well!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We were extremely lucky to be able to stay with Sercan and Jaki in Istanbul. We piled into a rental van with our Turkish, French, and German friends and headed south to a paradise called Cesme. I miss it very much.
Since I've been back I've hosted 11 couchsurfers (1 from New Jersey, 1 from Portland Oregon, 2 from Denmark and Sweden, 2 from England, 1 from Switzerland, 2 from Poland, 2 from Florida) all very nice. Hosting is great fun, our guests seem to have fun, and I hope if you are traveling to Richmond that you'll get to stay with us.
Andi hosts a kick ass bbq!
Interests
I'm very interested in several things: technology, investing, music, art, movies, etc. I try to keep a low carbon footprint. Flying places doesn't help but I work from home and I eat a below average amount of meat so I think that cancels out the flying on my trip. Every bit helps.
