I'm an engineer who lives and works in Cambridge. I grew up in Italy and I enjoy the company of interesting people from all over the world, especially now that I can't travel very much.

PHILOSOPHY

"I hack, therefore I am." Seriously, my friends call me a hippie because I reject conformity and I question social norms. I stand for a free Internet where everyone has a voice and where ideas can't be censored.

My housemates are also couchsurfers and we enjoy hosting people in our house. We try to create a friendly, easygoing environment where everybody is welcome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is the only social network in which I engage because I believe in meeting people in person rather than chatting online.

My favorite old movies are Blade Runner and 2001 A Space Odissey. Both are science fiction, yes, and both explore the meaning of being human through artificial intelligence.
