About Me

To describe oneself...this section has always been tough for me. Hmmm... what character perception shall I describe? Key point is that I'm open minded. How about this, feel free to ask any questionsb and I will strive to be completely honest and transparent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a fair question. Whether it's sharing my experience with locals or other fellow travelers, I would say I'm on CS because some of the most unique moments within any of my memories tended to come from the people willing to share those moments with me, and that this community has many unique people that I would love to share moments with but would otherwise be unable to if it wasn't for this platform. CouchSurfing to me is the idea of pairing new journeys with new open minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

The best music is often that of which is live, outdoors, around a campfire, and new to the ears. A national park setting is ideal but it can be city related too. That stated, i do enjoy listening to some Modest Mouse, Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Nirvana, and many more...

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson or Charlie Kaufman really gets my attention. Some movies i found value in include: Waking Life, Adaptation, American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, Life Aquatic, Moonlight Kingdom, etc.

Books: Currently reading Entheogenic Liberation by Martin Ball, several books by Stanislav Grof, Waking Up by Sam Harris, Be Here Now by Ram Dass, The Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin, and A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some things I've done would include stand-up comedy in NY and bungee jump off the highest bridge in South Africa.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just about anything. I can be really quiet and you never even know I'm there. I could also stay up late in deep conversation with you. I certainly enjoy making friends but understand everyone has a life going on. I have learned well how to mold to my environment's expectations. I'm very respectful and know how to clean up after myself. Besides conversation, we could play music together or I could help you around the house with handyman projects. I've remodeled two homes so im not afraid of DIY work. I enjoy conflict free environments but I'm not afraid to debate topics. That said, its important to note that i'm 100% against any kind of suffering (e.g. animal abuse, racism, etc.). I feel as if I'm continuously attempting to be grounded in reality and like to put love first in my life decisions. Anybody that does host me will always be welcome to stay at my place back in my birth land (or wherever I'm living).
