About Me

I divide my time between New Orleans, Louisiana and Denver, Colorado.
I work in film and television as a photo double and stand-in. My great passion is drawing and writing poetry and essays.

I am devoted to a magical frame of experience and perspective. Its my continual aim to make my life a creative act and develop an ongoing dialog with the cosmos.
I prize the charge between minds that yields the leaping chemistry of words.

My lifestyle consists of clean efficient living with little material excess. I value kindness, humility and enthusiastic earnest expression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to travel the world and do so in a way that immerses me in the local culture of wherever I travel rather than the path of tourism and consumption. I do not believe it is a worthy endeavour to go to a country simply to take selfies in front of well known sights.

I'm after a detachment from all the enclosures that foster a false sense of ego and self.
I'm after the continual process of becoming.
I'm after the stimulus of experiencing with my own eyes the art that has guided my creative progression and made my soul hum.

I'm seeking partners on the path, boon companions, the ones who learn and teach, the ones following the mercurial course..
I'm seeking the knowledge and conversation of those who want to share their world and grow their own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently survived a bear attack in the Rocky Mountains. That was a trial..

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn anything I can about the individual experiences and the cultures of my hosts.
I love to hear what drives and stimulates the souls and minds of others and in turn share my passions, thoughts and wonder.
I believe we expand our consciousness and our circle of concern when we step beyond our own mental enclosures and schema to engage with those of others free from any categorical assumptions or prejudice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an energetic and joyful person who values kindness, respect and community. I relish the opportunity to talk with new people for hours and can be counted on to always be an energetic partner game for any and all expeditions and adventures slow or fast.

I value the ethics of being a respectful and honoring houseguest willing to contribute and share in another's home. I am happy to assist in anything which makes my time in someone's home a pleasure and makes my hosts feel at ease. I'm a pretty clean and organized guy so i'm happy to extend that in whatever way I can to my stay with hosts.
