About Me
I'm a guy looking for the next great thing to do in life. Long-term traveling is my dream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of meeting and sharing with new people. I think traveling is a way to experience the world and make myself a better person. I want to have interesting experiences and improve myself every day.
Interests
Learning new things is top on my list. Other than that, I have loads of things that interest me. I enjoy reading a lot. I practice a style of martial arts called Ryukyu Kempo originally from Okinawa. I don't normally do competitions, but I do teach classes and I'd love to share some of that or learn some new martial arts.
I'm big into exercise and running. I try to run or work out otherwise every day. When I'm not working or practicing karate, I like to run. I like the ocean. I also like mountains. I enjoy snowboarding but I've never surfed. I also really enjoy drawing and artwork. And traveling and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've jumped off the tallest building in New Zealand. The Sky Tower in Auckland - it was terrifying, but my most favorite thing I've ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach karate, and I'd be happy to share some of my self-defense and martial arts experience. I'm definitely open to learning other kinds of martial arts as well if you know any! I play ukulele, albeit not fantastically, and I could teach some chords. I'd really love to learn to play better. I haven't personally met anyone else who plays and wants to teach me. I can also teach English or any kind of math! I like the idea of sharing languages. Going somewhere that's not primarily English speaking would be a little intimidating, but exciting at the same time.
I'd love to learn new languages, new musical instruments, new ways to cook, or any other skill really. I'm wide open to new experiences.
