About Me

ABOUT ME

I am your average 6'1'' ginger living in NYC. I am very fun, outgoing, and have a unique sense of humor. I ride my blue bike everywhere and love to explore. I read a lot of books and I watch a movie a day. I love to eat! I only eat quality food to, and I cook most of it. I am very cultured and not your "typical" American, but I am still very American. I come from a small town in Indiana, and moved to the city 2 years ago. I am a Midwestern, Bible belt raised man that is very tolerant of any walk of life. As long as you are happy and living your life, I am happy. I am charming and I have a witty sarcasm. I am very honest. I will never lie to you about anything. I am very intelligent and love a good discussion but I also love silence and for people to enjoy each other's company without having to force anything.

I am very outgoing and make friends easily because I am not shy and always find something to talk about with everyone. The small moments in life make me happy. I am a very good host and can' wait to host travelers! I love to do things out of the ordinary. I like exploring new places and living in the moment. I play the piano, a little guitar, and speak French. I feel like I should be born in the 1950's because of my secret love for vinyl records and grandpa sweaters. I love baby orangutans. I watch a movie a day, have 9 out of the 10 seasons of Friends, love Tina Fey, Meryl Streep, Patti Lupone. Love art. Art is my life.

I am gay and I have great friends. I have a beautiful family. I love the earth and nature and do yoga and work out. I schedule Wednesdays around my favorite obstacle-course workout class (I love it too much :-)). I like being healthy. I love being a lazy bum on the weekends since I work so hard during the week taking 13 classes and being onstage or offstage working on shows or my 9-5 job Monday-Friday in the summer. I am not clingy. I love the days when I lose my phone because I don't have to answer to anyone. I love life, it's that simple. I am a romantic.

Interests

I enjoy very good art and an approach of individuality and uniqueness. Whatever you do, if it is truthful, I respect it. I spend my time working and going to school right now. My free time, though, I read a lot and like to explore the city on my bike. I go up to New York City a lot since it is only 2 hours away. I love to go on vacation. I just got back from Europe from back packing for 2 months. I love educating myself and that is why I can't wait to host people, because whomever I meet, I am sure, will fascinate me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment when I was standing on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower facing North and realized I could conquer the world and do whatever I wanted with my life. I realized how far I have come with my life. Then the light show happened right on top of me :)

Another moment was when my acting teacher told me that it was my best work he has seen of me. I broke down in tears because I had worked so hard up to then and finally found my groove after months and months of frustrating work.
