Overview
About Me
I work at a tiny private college in PA and live in college-owned housing, so I (so sadly!) can't host at this time. All of my experience surfing, however, has been phenomenal over the past few years.
About me? I'm a huge coffee aficionado, I'm left-handed, I run a lot, I travel by impulse, and I care deeply about mutual learning - opportunities for meaningful dialogue, I believe, are what move us closer to a more peaceful world. My super-tentative goal is to travel through (or briefly live in?) every Spanish-speaking country. Yikes, I know.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
On a surface level, I'm on couchsurfing because I love to experience new places, meet new people, and introduce visitors to the places I call home. Fundamentally, I support couchsurfing because of the ways that it promotes adventure, generosity, and the sharing of cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once caught a sprinting mole with my bare hands. I also helped to build a fence for an off-highway vehicle training course in the Mojave Desert, which isn't necessarily amazing, but it's at least unique.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I taught swimming lessons for most of my college years. I'm also happy to teach everything I know (which is limited) about the structure of AmeriCorps, the history of higher education, and the building blocks of schema theory.
Learn: I want to hone my Spanish. I hope to become a master gardener some day and I'd love to learn some things about carpentry.
Share: I will sit down and share a coffee with literally anyone who asks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Simple stories of working in the weird world of colleges. I'm also happy to cook for whoever is hosting me.
