Pursue sound engineering in nyc while having as many adventures as I can fit into a day.

ABOUT ME

I am always ready for just about anything, if it is happening I will be there with something to offer. One goal in life is to experience as much as possible, I'm willing to open every door, climb every staircase.

I grew up in rural Vermont, loving the mountains and wilderness. Went snowboarding almost ever weekend during the winter, tapped maple trees in the spring and did a lot of biking in the summer. Vermont will always be a part of me, wherever I go. But my personality is strongly split between wanting to be in nature and wanting to be in a city setting.

For now the urban side is winning. After highschool I knew I wanted to move to a city to try and do something with music. I found a sound engineering school in NYC and have never been happier. I've met a bunch of very like minded individuals (or maybe they found me). I've had amazing experiences and have learned an incredible amount about music, myself and life.

I now do extensive work in the live sound engineering field, slowly building myself up to my ultimate live sound goal of going on tour, as a sound engineer, with a major touring band, Along with that goal I am continuing to have a NYC experience while traveling as much as possible. This summer I will be taking a road trip across the country and next spring I am trying to put together a trans-siberian trip.

All that aside I would be perfectly happy cooking and eating with friends for the rest of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

Reality is what we perceive. What we perceive is a creation of our brain. Our brain creates our reality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as possible I will have an available couch in NYC, and from then on whenever I have a couch I would like it to be available. This summer I am road-tripping across the country and I hope to have a few couch surfing experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've slept on 1 couch, actually I slept on an air mattress. But I slept well and that is all that matters.

Interests

Going to concerts, cooking, eating, snowboarding, biking, hiking, camping, urban exploration, climbing trees, movies, music, making music, computers, art, carpentry, welding, juice, watching the sun rise from bridges and rooftops, small parties with close friends, basement shows, seeing things I haven't thought of seeing yet, setting up 30 piece big bands in less than an hour while wearing a tuxedo, finding interesting things people are trying to throw away, having long philosophical discussions about religion-reality-life-fate-everything, sleeping, not sleeping for periods of time,
