About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling around, meeting people, eventually will settle into something.

ABOUT ME

I am from the suburbs of Washington, DC in northern Virginia, and just graduated from university at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I am taking two years off to live in Spain and be an English Language and Culture Assistant in Valencia, Spain. I guess I am a 'free spirit' like everyone on this website, and I enjoy new things and new people very much. I am pretty tall, goofy, awkward, and charming at times. I am a white boy and love my mother very much.

PHILOSOPHY

Still figuring that one out. 'Treat everyone how you would like to be treated' is a pretty good one. Also, learning as much as I can while I am young is something I value very much. I'd love to learn yours!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in Mérida, Spain last year and hosted\surfed in various places. This year I am in Valencia and planning on couchsurfing a good amount!

Interests

I genuinely am interested in finding out what makes other people tick, and enjoy coffee, naps, and cooking good food for others. I like sports, traveling, debating meaningless things, eating, and going for walks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked across the side of a mountain in Extremadura, Spain with people in my study abroad group. We came across a herd of rams being led only by a sheep dog with a bell. From about 20 feet away, all 200 or so rams stopped dead in their tracks, turned, and looked at us. they could have easily have ran at us and trampled/killed all of us. For about 20 seconds we stood still staring at these powerful, unrestrained animals in the eye scared out of our minds. All at once, they turned back and went on their way. It was a pretty cool encounter with mother nature and her power.
