ABOUT ME

I'm an online entrepreneur & wanderer who decided to pick up and move abroad, wandering and traveling around Southeast Asia for 4 years now. I write at ThrillingHeroics.com about lifestyle, travel & entrepreneurship, and I make my living online through marketing, building communities, web development, business consulting, and writing.

Originally from Northern California, I decided to live a more adventurous life, pack it up and move abroad, not knowing where I'd settle down. Spent 1.5 years in Bangkok making incredible friends from around the globe, enjoying the nightlife, hanging with my buddy Dwight from In Search of Sanuk volunteering and organizing fundraising events, parties & other social gatherings. Then subsequently lived 2 years on the beaches/islands of southern Thailand â

PHILOSOPHY

Continued learning & constant improvement; Increase my sphere of influence (so I can single-handedly set the world back in the right direction! :) Leave a legacy; Do something worth a damn. I think the world is changing, borders are changing, the way we live, work, and interact is changing, and I'm happy to scare the s**t out of people by being a part of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet with a ton of visiting friends who come through Thailand, and happy to make new friends with folks on holiday (I'm currently in Chiang Mai in the north for a few months), grab a beer, bring you to dinner with some local & expat friends, or do some co-working at one of the city's best cafes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few friends in Bangkok hosted me while I got my new life set up here in Southeast Asia, and I've made a lot of great friends with the tight-knit CS community in BKK and many backpackers/travelers who I've met all over Asia.

I can gladly introduce travelers to many cool friends around Thailand and share some fun times together (beer, dinner, going out, good conversations, beach time) - I'm currently in Chiang Mai.
