I am not a cannibal nor a vampire

PHILOSOPHY

Seek truth and learn to laugh with it

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies. I tend to enjoy movies where the main character is in some way insane (or is she?). For example: 12 Mokeys, Brainscan, Fight Club, American Psycho, Altered States, Momento, Synecdoche, Scanner Darkly, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The PrestigeI am also in perpetual search for "truth" (or at least "less brainwashing") so I am steadily watching documentaries. Here is a great website with hundreds of free documentaries (a cherished resource): http://www.sprword.comA couple nice documentaries from this website are: "The Union: The business Behind Getting High"; "The Corporation"; and "Earthling"A really excellent documentary found on youtube is "Home"[[[ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU ]]]Books: I am currently reading: "Consciousness Explained" By Daniel C. Dennett, "Principles of Neural Science" By Jessell, Schwartz, and Kandel, and "The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla"Music!!...a true gift from (the) [g/G]od(s). I am constantly searching for more music. Recently, I am more interested in dubstep and instrumental funk. I like lots of music. For example: reggae (Bob Marley of course!), old school rock (The Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival, ...), rap/hip hop (Zion-I, Devin The Dude, Black Star/Talib Kweli/Mos Def, ...), soul/funk (Johnny "Guitar" Watson, ...), jazz/funk (Medeski, Martin, & Wood; DJ Mark Farina; ...), "trip hop" (DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, ...), "electrosoul" (Pretty Lights), dubstep (Bassnectar, ...), house (Dead Mau5), electronica (Thievery Corporation), psychadelic electronica (Shpongle), psy-trance (Infected Mushroom), "folk-punk"/bluegrass (The Devil Makes Three), solfeggio frequencies (Source Vibrations). The list goes on. Teach me your music! In my first 2 decades of life, I grew up on a diet primarily of "underground" Hip Hop from New York (Wu Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, ...), California (Heiroglyphics, Zion-I, ...), and Philadelphia (The Roots...), as well as various Electronic music from Europe (Daft Punk, Orbital, ...) and the USA, and gangster/mobstyle/hyphy Rap from The Bay Area (E-40, Mac Dre,....). Still got love for it!
