ABOUT ME

I would consider myself a respectful and down-to-earth person. I am real easy going and simply try to enjoy every moment in life. I love traveling, and anything adventurous and random. Hanging with family and friends is a wonderful pastime. As I grew up in the rural country, I enjoy its peaceful and relaxed feel but greatly enjoy the culture and life cities have to offer!

Enjoy the little things (literally one of my life goals).

You are in control of your life, your emotions, and your happiness so make the best out of every situation and try to see the positive in everything that happens.

Treat others well and hope the same in return. There are a lot of wonderful people in this world, you can't let a few bad apples spoil the batch!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In General - I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their life stories and lessons. I love to learn about others' cultures and way of life, and mostly importantly make new friends!!

While Traveling - wish to meet with locals and get traveling tips and share stories.

Hosting - I currently can't host, however when I get a place of my own this Fall I will be more than willing to host and have people over from all walks of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a wonderful idea that allows like-minded people to meet each other. I've only had great experiences with couchsurfing and hope to keep it that way.

Interests

Life's an adventure, and with that I literally enjoy anything adventurous (skydiving, scuba-diving, hiking, obviously travelling!, attempting to rock climb, etc.) I also enjoy playing nearly all sports (basketball and racquetball are my favorite though). Anything to do with the water and I enjoy it! I simply LOVE the sea and everything it has to offer. Lastly, learning new things has always interested me, whether it be historical, scientific, business related, or even new languages (although sadly I'm none to good at learning new languages).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching a good movie! I prefer a good comedy over anything else, but I also enjoy actions, dramas, and scary movies.
Favorite movie would have to be Beverly Hills Ninja with Chris Farely!

As far as music goes, I can listen to and enjoy it all! It seriously just depends on my mood and the day for what I want to listen to.

Books - Academia has killed my desire for an books at the moment, however I still enjoy reading travelling books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone skydiving and greatly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I would love to teach you how to play racquetball if we could find a place to play (I have currently taught over 20 people how to play and everyone to date has enjoyed it!), business related topics, technology, and card tricks and games.

Learn - ANYTHING! Random facts, language, historical facts, dancing, travel tips, etc.
