I am happy to share my "couch" when I can

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up till now, I have mostly used hostels when I have travelled. Since finding out about this website, I would like to give CouchSurfing a try on my next trip, as I know there are many amazing people from other cultures out there, and hopefully this site provides the opportunity to meet them. In the mean time, I hope to meet such people when I have a "couch" to lend

Centres d'intérêt

Film. This is a topic I am passionate about, and my DVD collection is pretty astronomical. I like all genres from all parts of the world.

Philosophy. Particularly continental - my most recent interest has been in Heidegger. I'm also into Taoism these days.

Writing. From philosophy to stories, I like to jot things down.

Reading. Favourite authors include Bukowski and I'm currently into Dostoevsky

Sport. I used to sprint competitively, mainly the 100m.

Food. I am very open-minded when it comes to food, although I have adopted a pescatarian diet.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Favourite fiction books include Solaris by Stainslaw Lem, and Factotum by Charles Bukowski.

Music. My favourite band is Radiohead. If I continue, I wouldn't know where to end.

Films. I tend to enjoy character studies. And films with a lot of sincerity grab me a lot at the moment, for example All the Real Girls by David Gordon Green.

Finding myself alone with nature tends to be a special experience. Also, any amazing architecture draws me in like a magnet.
