Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally through enthusiastic stories from friends. They were right!

Interests

Many! but what it basically all boils down to is trying new things: sometimes as exotic and strange as they can possibly be. Most recently, I have given in to my rock-climbing and wakeboarding urges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting our 4WD stuck in the mud on a rainy day in the middle of nowhere in Tanzania. After carefully scouting the area for wildlife, it took us two days two dig out the landcruiser with our bare hands (shovel broke). I still remember very well the moment arriving in the first local village, covered in a shell of dried cotton mud and being offered food and a place to sleep by the locals.
