ABOUT ME
Love to be outdoors especially during the warmer months. I kayak, hike and camp when I can. I have a small coffeeshop which occupies a lot of my time but love the friendships built. Most of the time my weekends are off with the occasional supply run. At the house, I live with my dog, Wyler. He is a Black & tan coonhound mix. Friendly and playful.
During the week when I go out it I usually spend the time around Lowell.
PHILOSOPHY
Probably over used but I really do try not to let little details bother me. If they all hit me at once that is a different story. Also I do not care what I do as long as it with people I like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the most part I have hosted travelers coming to Lowell for the Folk Festival, Summer Music series or to see the town in which Kerouac lived. I surfed once when heading south to Savanna and Chareleston.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met some great and interesting people from the north to across the pond.

Music, Movies, and Books
My three favorite books seem to all have been placed in movies now. In no particular order Where the Red Fern Grows (which is how I knew about coon hounds when looking at my dog), Atlas Shrugged (do not buy into entirely Rand's philosophy but there are some interesting parts of it. The book thogh is great) and lastly, Anna Karenina.
I usually do not go out to the movies. About 4-5 per year with one always being on Christmas. Spend it with the rest of the Jews in the morning. U
Also like to read the newspaper (print version. Old fashioned I guess)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to Cuba. Lame but I have always wanted to go and the experience from getting there and being there just thrilled me. The people I met, conversations had, beaches, architecture, contradictions etc. Everything just amazed me.
