Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found two couchsurfers by accident, looking lost on the street as I walked back from the supermarket. They had just arrived from Jordan, their host wasn't answering his phone so invited them to mine to use the internet, grab a drink. They found their host but 2 days later were short of a place to crash and took over my lounge - we went on a cycle tour and a couple months later, they hosted me in Amman! Now I'm in Paris and I love helping people get the most out of their time in a new city and have a real experience and avoid the tourist traps (of which there are so many here)!
Interests
I am a passionate foodie and I run a tour business as a guide for off the beaten track experiences in Paris. From tunnels of abandoned railways, secret gardens and foodie corners of the city where only the locals go - you will find me!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to whatever is on the radio and can sing in many more languages than I can speak!! I love reading non-fiction and humorous travel writers like Billy Bryson or books like ' a year in the Merde'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled by overnight train and bus from Bucharest or Odessa in just 4days, crossing via Moldova and Transniestria, a non-existent, self-declared Soviet Republic existing long after the USSR is dead!
