About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live freely.

ABOUT ME

I'm a warm and thoughtful woman who values fitness, health, friendship and travel. I love to cook and sing songs with my boyfriend. Animals have a special place in my heart, as do children. I have been on the road in one form or another for about 3 years and am looking to staying stationary for a time while I'm doing nursing school.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for the pursuit of true, bullet proof happiness. I am open and honest in all of my relationships. I like deep conversation and also silly laughs - hard work brings great rewards.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed with friends in Portland for 3 months over a summer, which I will say is too long - but it gave me a good taste for how kind people can be. Since then, I've surfed a few times in various spots around the world and have been extremely grateful for the experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Atlas Shrugged, A Man in Full, A Confederacy of Dunces top the book list currently.

Music is tougher: I love Bruce Springsteen, Matt Mays, Sam Roberts, The Black Seeds, Land of Talk, Arcade Fire...I mainly like good old fashioned rock and roll.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever seen sounds totally fake, but it happened! In Chiang Mai, my boyfriend and I saw two kids about age 12 walking a baby elephant on a leash down the road by our hotel. They proceeded to take the elephant with them into a liquor store. We didn't see how it ended because we were just passing by, but that is NOT something you see every day!
