A good friend likened me to a chipmunk. I kind of like that as my spirit animal. Harmless and people generally like them. But also easily frightened and runs away if you get too close!

I'm a firm believer in the "if I fits, I sits" philosophy. Can't say it's ever really steered me wrong.

Surfed some when I went to Tucson. Now I'm having fun hosting people whenever I can! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a tad. Now hosting a tad. Loving the concept of it: meeting people from different places, developing friendships, taking the money out of it and making it more personal!

兴趣

Right now my big passion is bringing community broadband to Buffalo. That's taking up a lot of my time. Beyond that, I'm into nature stuff, working out, some fun sports when I get the chance (slack-lining, kicking a soccer ball around, cycling, etc), doing stuff with the co-ops in my community, and a bunch of other things I can't think of right now!

Favorite music right now is Hozier. Wish I could sing like him!

Never been huge into movies--though there are definitely some I have enjoyed.

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin is my favorite fiction series. Chomsky's far and away my favorite non-fiction.

Meditated for 5-6 hours a day for a few months. Though my meditation has dropped off a ton since then. Remind me to meditate!!

Done considerable meditation in my life. Though I'd still consider myself little better than a novice. Wouldn't pretend to be some sort of teacher, though I'd be happy to share...
