Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and I hosted a girl once. She was nice. We got breakfast before she left. It was nice.

Most recently, I hosted two wonderful Polish gents (who were put in contact with me by a friend via CS) in Amman over the New Year and they were wonderful guests and a welcome addition to my New Year's Eve party...I am just waiting for them to their own Couchsurfing account, so I can say as much on their profiles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an abnormal sense of humor that runs the gamut from dry and quirky to slapstick, and so my movie choices reflect that. However, I enjoy a good drama/suspense film just as often. I read just about anything. My favorite classic novel is Victor Hugo's "Les Miserables", but for contemporary fiction I really enjoy Stephen King. My musical tastes are just as varied and some of my favorites across all genres include: Elvis, The Guess Who, The Who, The Decemberists, Chromeo, The New Pornographers, Elliot Smith, Ryan Adams, Nickelcreek, and the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam in the Dead Sea. Snorkeled in the Red Sea. Spell my name with a "C".
