ABOUT ME

I love adventure. I played volleyball overseas in Croatia for three months and during that time, I realized how much I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I don't know that anyone has their life completely figured out, which is why I love getting to know new people and learn about their story and their experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to remind myself all the time that life is short and to live life to the fullest every day. I think life is about taking chances, making mistakes, and enjoying the journey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure yet! I would like to meet new people by both hosting and visiting other couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never used a website to couchsurf. However, I did couchsurf a couple times while in Croatia. We hosted several people from Australia and New Zealand. We met them while visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia. We ended up sharing lots of laughs at the house where they were couchsurfing and then hosted them in Split, Croatia for the next two days. It was an absolute blast and I've still been in contact with some of them. Whenever I get the opportunity to visit Australia, I will be giving them a call!

兴趣

I love sports. I played volleyball in college and it is still a huge part of my life. I enjoy going to sporting events especially husker football games! (if you don't know what the huskers are, that's ok, I can definitely help you learn - you'll never forget it!) I love food and trying new restaurants. I've recently become more interested in learning more about my genealogy. If I get the time, I will continue to learn more!

I've been fortunate enough to see some pretty amazing countries and places. One of the most amazing views was that from the top of the Prague Castle in January. Snow covered the city. Quite incredible.

-Volleyball is something I know quite a bit about as I've been around the sport since I was born!
-I graduated from Elkhorn (a suburb of Omaha), but I'm a small town girl at heart. I grew up showing livestock and being on the farm, so I know a little about small town living.
-As I've already mentioned, I love food. I love finding local places that have a specialized trade and feel like I've found a lot of those around Omaha.
