À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Work, work, work. I run my own business and wait tables in hopes to save enough money to make it to Jamaica in a few months!!! I'm super excited about it!! That's why I'm using so many exclamation marks!
ABOUT ME
of course, this is generally speaking...
i can be intense, quiet, I can sit there for long periods of time drifting through obscure thoughts, self-contemplation, refocusing my intentions and perspective, soliciting intrigue with my own imagination. that's me, for the most part, when I'm alone. with nothing to do.
i like to be active too, to ride my bike, to swim, explore, play sports, and soak up the sun.
with other people, it doesn't take much to woo me over. openness, humor, any kind of glimpse into yourself I greatly appreciate. i tend to ask questions, some seemingly pointless, but I'm a curious person that enjoys being captivated by people's stories. if i'm bored then i really like to joke around, be stupid, or showcase myself in some way. i strive for the funnest of times with others, and to build great memories.
PHILOSOPHY
it's pretty much phenomenological for me. i can't seem to reach anything definitive when it comes to how I got here and what is going to happen to me, my purpose, etc. but i have my speculations which is sort of a sport for my imagination, but i have nothing i can really get behind and believe as far as absolutes.
I will say I think it's important to believe in a holy being, whatever it is that fits you best, as a sort of projection so that your spirituality will have something to bounce off of to help make those inner workings more tangible. we're human, we need experiences, stories, relationships to guide us, especially when it comes to existing within.
when i'm at this right place, sometimes it's only momentarily, sometimes it's in and out all day like a lucid dream, and sometime i loose it for months or years on end, but the best of times is when its steady glowing and powerful. it's this feeling of something eternal, free of character, some place aligned perfectly and holy.
that place seems to be the most important thing about living because everything else trickles vibrantly through that lens of perception.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to live and be active in the sanssouci house in Memphis. It was a collective where people could use the space for pretty much anything, but most things revolved around community building, personal and interpersonal growth. To say the least, in a two year span, we had a great many couch surfers come through our house. We have a CS Sanssouci Collective group, it's in my groups.
Right now, I live with my parents who aren't open to the idea of hosting couch surfers. boo.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've cs'd before in nashville, on my way to bonaroo, and i feel like that's it. my hosting to surfing ratio is sadly and extremely disproportionate.
hosting was great fun in sanssoucci. there were a lot of different faces and names that I cannot remember too well. we were always down for dance parties, and we always enjoyed showing people a different side of Memphis, something that was completely unsuspecting of this city, but still loads of fun.
Centres d'intérêt
rugby, reading, manual labor, riding my bike, dancing to live music or alone is good too, frisbee, the sun and i like them rays traveling as short a distance as possible to my skin, being weird funny especially when people are accepting of it and join in on the fun. drinking during the day, and so on.
