About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Couchsurf across the country and settle down in America's finest city!
ABOUT ME
After finishing my 27 month Peace Corps service in Nicaragua I found a job working for AgExport, a Guatemalan export agency. For the past year I led an indigenous farming association towards their Global GAP certification, making their product more competitive on the global market, while introducing alternative water management technologies to combat low yields. It was a very fun experience that has since guided me towards San Diego where I am currently pursing a masters at USD.
I will be here for the next nine months comparing everything to Nica, so show me what you got Guatemala!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a movie fanatic! All I have to say is Tremors. Same goes for books. Some of my favorites are The Drifters, Grapes of Wrath, Shantaram, Name of the Wind, Vonnegut, Hemingway, etc.

In 2010, after graduating from college, I backpacked from Argentina to Colombia and back again. By living with friends I made along the way I was able to eat tons of delicious new food and lucky enough to couchsurf with many unforgettable hosts in their beautiful countries.
