About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm this kind of guy who always has to fight against administration, you know, like there's always something you did wrong in your organisation. In fact, it's just a lack of luck. Seriously, it never leaves me in peace!

I play drums, I'm a noisy guy but can be quiet when I sleep. I like the fear when you meet people and you try your best bad jokes, hoping you won't receive too many tomatoes. I like to begin learning languages that you know you will never use it in life. It's always a regret when I decide not to continue after a couple of days.

I like to run in the mountain when my ankle is not in bubblegum. I'm a nutella and pesto eater, especially the green one, and I'm the first Ovomaltine fan in the world for sure. But please don't put milk, it's a heresy.

PHILOSOPHY

why hold over to tomorrow all that you can cancel?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

the first time was in Stockholm. It was awesome!! Hosts were superfriendly and ultrawelcoming! Trust was immediate, we had the keys the first day..

Interests

all the different kinds of relationships you can build with people, that's fascinating.
I like theater, cinema, museums, and I would like to go more often, that's a real problem.
and of course chocolate, drums, politics (I escaped France notably for this reason!), tennis, football, tartiflette, ski, canyoning, via ferrata and basically every sport or activity in relation with the mountain!

Music, Movies, and Books

let's say the Truman show, good bye Lenin, no man's land, one flew over a cuckoo's nest, be kind rewind, usual suspects, midnight express, le 8eme jour, la vie est belle, lately whiplash, and many more, I think I forget a lot...

Musically speaking, Electric Six, that's the band I prefer in the world! So when I don't listen to these fools, I have not much time left; it's AC/DC, led zeppelin, the who, pixies, porcupine tree, tool, kasabian, nine inch nails, massive attack, and many more..

I like travel litterature: l'Usage du Monde from Nicolas Bouvier would be my best. Dennis Lehane thrillers are captivating: mystic river, gone baby gone. Harlan Coben with tell no one. Jonathan Coe, what a carve up. John Irving's cider house rules. Eric Emmanuel Schmitt play, hôtel des deux mondes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canyoning the Sierra de Guara while I had a big, big academic end-of-year dissertation to write. Sometimes you just have to make choices.

Teach, Learn, Share

Du you want to learn how to cook with a lot of cumin? It's more complicated than it seems to be.

I can show you how to do a paper bird which opens his beak, flaps his wings but so faithful that he never escapes through the window.

Or I can learn you to find the best drum noise when hitting your belly. It's a long-time process to reach perfection. But it's totally worth it. People get jealous more than you can imagine.
