About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take on the world.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in a suburb on the south shore of Long Island about an hour outside Manhattan. Growing up on the water with the beach in my backyard and the greatest city in the world just a short train ride away has certainly shaped me into the person I am today.
Meaning...I just don't add up.
Peaceful, loud, crazy, calm, laid back, high strung and everything in between.
PHILOSOPHY
I firmly believe dancing and giggling are the cures for everything!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately Long Island, New York is an area where people rarely "pass through" (its a dead end street) but I love possibly connecting with others and offering either my company or a couch whenever possible
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was introduced to CS a few years back at a regional burn.
Although I have yet to be heavily involved in surfing or hosting (for a variety of reasons), many of my dearest friends have been for a long time.
Interests
I live for live music and meeting new people. I enjoy participatory art, all things strange and off beat, photography, dance and performance arts and on and on and on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is the gates to my soul, I really can't think of a genre that I dislike.
The list is pretty long but it goes a little something like this: Paul Simon, Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews, reggae, experimental rock/jam/jamtronic, dance & electronic
I love discovering new music and emerging artists.
Books: non fiction, books about society, philosophy, psychology and so on.
Movies: I occasionally look at my tv and wonder "does this thing even work?" I try not to get sucked in and spend my life with my eyes glued to a screen, but sometimes one can't help it.
I have a hard time picking favorites, as with everything else in my life
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most amazing thing that I have done so far would be Burning Man, where I regained my faith in humanity.
Countries I’ve Visited
