Hello, soon-to-be friends!

I'm a junior at college studying a double concentration/major in computer science and ethnic studies. I'm fascinated by technology and programming and have worked on numerous projects. I would love to talk about them and hear about other cool tech projects. Also, I find politics so interesting - both the good and the bad. Ideally, I want to find a way for technology to make policy decisions better and more efficient and streamline government processes. I guess I can dream :).

I also love philosophy. I've stay up until the wee hours of the night/early morning with my former roommate talking about everything from free will to morality to concepts of infinity. I'm always down to ponder questions of existence.

History. I love peeling back the stories and events that define the past. Recently, I was helping a friend on a project about Vlad Dracul III (aka Vlad the Impaler, aka Dracula. *insert dramatic drum noises* - http://www.freesound.org/people/digifishmusic/sounds/76065). We ended up spending hours trying to understand the changes of leadership of Wallachia in the 15th century and the war between the Hungarian Kingdom and the Ottoman Empire. I couldn't get enough of that shit. Oh and Vlad (and one of his brothers) seemed to have some daddy issues, just saying. I also traced my parental line to 1801 in Norway, and it has since been my dream to travel to Norway.

I would consider myself adventurous and an extrovert and curious beyond measure. I'm also a queer feminist who loves to meet people and hear their stories and dreams.

But basically any modern pop. And also Indie Folk, K-Pop, any letter-Pop (tbh), relaxing meditative chants, and pretty much everything else... except for rap. Not a huge rap fan.

As for movies, my absolute favorite as of now is Inside Out. God, I love that movie! And you cannot go wrong with Boyhood. One of my absolute favorites. Add to that The Way He Looks, which is a Brazilian movie about a blind teenager who develops a bond with the new kid in school. Also, a classic: Inception. And: Now You See Me and Finding Nemo and Finding Dory to name a few.
