Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to fully experience foreign situations. I would much rather make a life-long friend through the generosity of a stranger than stay at a Hilton. Similarly, I would much rather augment a traveler's experience and enjoy his/her company than have that person stay at a hotel.
