Overview
About Me
My name is Cole Nutter. I grew up moving around the United States, (Colorado, California, Florida, Wyoming) and I spent six months living in Russia. At the time of my creating this profile (2017) I have been living in a village in Namibia for the past two years as a volunteer English teacher and community development consultant among other things. I studied Language and Literature and have forgotten almost all of my Russian and Spanish but fortunately speak the lesser known Otjiherero quite well so I don't feel so embarrassed as I might otherwise. I worked in youth development and as a preschool teacher before moving to southern Africa. I don't presently know where I will live in the next six months and am in a bit of a transition period. I've traveled around a bit in europe and southern Africa as well as all over North America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing as a post Namibia buffer before returning to the States and becoming a full fledged adult, but also because I enjoy meeting people and I hope to host people when I get back to the States.

Music, Movies, and Books
Its hard to choose favorites. I like good movies and good books. I'll admit to liking comic book movies though. I love Oscar season. My favorite movie is sometimes "Walk the Line"
I do quite like literature. My favorite book is "Catch 22" and I like "100 Years of Solitude." I like time tested books. I like Russian Lit and I like American Lit. and English Lit. Magic realism is swell. 1910-1960 is probably my favorite era.
Music is a mixed bag as well but I'm not too keen on hip-hop or American Country. I do like American Bluegrass and Classic Rock, which maybe is boring to hear. I like modern Indy stuff too. its too eclectic to point out one thing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
