Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are fortunate enough to have an opportunity to spend some time traveling and are hoping to make the most of it. We're planning to start in Europe and head east around the world. We'd like to both get to know as many people as we can in the places we go and keep it on the cheap as much as possible, and so couchsurfing seems like the best way to go!

Teach, Learn, Share

I took Spanish classes in school growing up and promptly forgot it all after leaving school, so I've been brushing up on it lately and would love to have practice with other Spanish speakers. Mikaela and I would also both really like to try snorkeling if someone was ever willing to show us around a place.

My strong suit is athletics and I'd be glad to play any sort of sport with anyone or help with running training plans and so on. I've also instructed rock climbing in the past and would love to show you the ropes there, but sadly will not be able to travel with all of that gear.

Mikaela has a degree in English and would be a great person to help non-native speakers learn and improve their English speaking skills. She's also a wonderful crafter and can teach a thing or two about knitting, pottery, and other crafty pursuits.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Excitement to explore and get to know you and your area. Cooking, cleaning, etc. duties. Anything material I may have with me at the time. Hopefully a great time!
