ABOUT ME

I'm a civil engineering student at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, but am studying in Vilanova, Spain for the semester. After completing school I plan to go to graduate school for water resource engineering and serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer. When I'm done gallivanting (whenever that might be) I'd like to work with water infrastructure in developing countries where not everyone has access to potable water.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting a couple of surfers in Florence, Italy was my first experience with CouchSurfing. Even though I didn't surf myself that trip, it got me interested. Soon after, though, a friend and I planned and biked a 50 km trail ride in Northern Catalunya. It was one of the coolest trips of my life and it wouldn't have been possible without the help and hospitality of Alice Grossman whom I met through CouchSurfing. I can't wait to bring my European experiences back to the United States and do some hosting of my own to return all the kindness I've received here.

I like to travel, play saxophone, hike, and ride my motorcycle around the Black Hills.
