CURRENT MISSION
To recieve free lodging while traveling
ABOUT ME
My Name is Cole Isaac Nicholas Caspers Agar. I currently live in Egypt and go to school at the American University in Cairo. I like standing in subways without holding on, and sneaking onto the roofs of random apartment buildings to watch the sun rise. I hate people who put stock in titles, try too hard to be different, and attempt to sum up their personality by referencing clever and obscure interests that seem to allude to their attractively unique or spontaneous nature.
PHILOSOPHY
The more work you put into doing something cheaply or for free, the more enjoyable that event will be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Do to my avid endeavor to minimize travel costs I was overjoyed to discover couch surfing. I think it is pure genius. Unlike Europe (and some other parts of the world) the Middle East does not have a great backpacking culture. I hope that helping to develop CouchSurfing in the region will bring in some of of this young alternative culture. The Middle East can be a warm and inviting area and it deserves to be better understood. I believe that all attempts to improve couch surfing in the Middle East would prove advantageous to both communities. I would love to meet with the other CouchSurfers in Cairo to discus life, liberty and the pursuit of adventure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no official CouchSurfing experience, but I come from a community where your friend's couch is your second home. I have already had one friend from the USA live on my couch for a week when he came to visit last year, and I will have another friend coming in a fortnight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking up Mount Sinai at 3:00AM and pausing to sigh deeply as the stars descended around me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can instruct anyone in the art of having an adventure in Cairo that will leave their wallet in relatively the same condition and heft as when they left my apartment. I would love to learn how to pickpocket or hotwire a car. In the absence of someone who can teach me these skills I would settle for being taught how to speak any language, travel and cook cheaply or survive a long fall.
