ABOUT ME

I grew up in the Bay Area, went to college in Santa Barbara to study Global Studies and Latin American studies, spent a year as an exchange student at University of Chile in Santiago, and then moved to Germany and Austria for grad school. I worked in international organizations for a few years after grad school in Vienna, and recently moved to Berkeley to start working in the international office of UC Berkeley.

I've traveled quite a bit and find that the best way to go about it is to meet someone local. I like to get into the history of a place before I go, and am eager to pick anyone's brain about who they are and where they come from. mostly I want life to be an adventure.
