Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm relatively new to this, but the from experiences I've had and recommendations from friends, couchsurfing is a fantastic way to travel and share experiences with other open minded people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I had my internship in Indonesia, I couchsurfed in Bali for close to two weeks. My host was incredible and I experienced so much thanks to her. She's definitely represented couchsurfing extremely well. I hope to have more positive experiences with couchsurfing as I continue to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I've done was climb Mount Rinjani on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. It was a two day, one night hike. The height was an astounding 3726 meters above sea level. During the night climb to the peak during the second day's morning, I spotted over 30 shooting stars. The sky looked as if someone threw a handful of glowing sand into the sky and it just stuck. When my travel companion and I reached the peak at 6am, we watched the sun break the into the horizon. I've never seen a sunrise so captivating. I can comfortably say that reaching the peak was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've studied architecture abroad in Italy so I can teach you a little bit about that! I've also spent two months living in Indonesia teaching English. The beautiful country has s much to offer with over 18,000 islands. My background in college is business (Information Systems and Management), and I have made a great deal of friends within the university. If you're into exercise, I also love to go running, working out, hiking and sports in general. I currently work as Business Analyst in software :)
