One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After the devastating physical deaths of: my twin sister, my wife and our dogs💔
I super slowly crawled out of my soul crushing despair. Micro bit by micro bit - I created a new solo life that now allows me to once again experience and share joy. How? What worked for me was: Antidepressants + Dogs + Friends + Therapy + TiME!

I’m grateful at least they all died separately- over several years -not all at once. It’s a thin silver lining, but I’ll take it.

Yes, losing loved ones is f-ing awful. And yet it is inevitable: Everyone we love, including ourself, will die.
What surviving to grieve gave me is:
An Experiential intimacy with death that impels me to create and
live the life I dream of for myself a little more powerfully every day🌸
